The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges to communities worldwide. , the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Hon. Malomba Esembe (Member of Parliament for Buea Urban), and Local Youths Corner Cameroon to combat the virus. Our efforts focused on sensitization campaigns to educate the public about prevention measures, including social distancing, mask-wearing, and hygiene practices.
We also distributed thousands of face masks, hand sanitizers, and hygiene kits to vulnerable groups and frontline workers, ensuring they had the necessary protection. Additionally, we provided essential supplies to hospitals and health workers, reinforcing their ability to fight the pandemic effectively. Through these collective actions, we helped curb the spread of COVID-19 while supporting those most affected by the crisis.
